The rooms of the b&b in the farmhouse have been realized within the 4 homes in which the Tenuta Sovestro was historically divided before the renovation, namely: Casa Padronale, Casa degli Ospiti, Casa del Contadino and Casa Bruciata.

La casa padronale
(The manor house)
We have called it this way, because in the past it was the summer/autumn residence of the old estate, which has been renovated and improved so much to be considered, as a whole, one of the best estates in Val d'Elsa.
It is situated on the 1st floor and offers a terrace with a breathtaking view of San Gimignano and the surrounding countryside. The wooden ceiling and the bricks in terracotta are a feast for the eyes.
It consists of 3 bedrooms with bathroom: 1 DeLuxe + 1 Superior + 1 Comfort, together with a living room for common use.
La casa degli ospiti
(The guest house)
This part of the farmhouse had already been conceived in the past to welcome the tourists or the farmers who came help with the harvesting of grapes and olives during summer and autumn.
Situated on the ground floor, it also has a ceiling with wooden beams and tiles, and consists of 6 rooms with bathroom (4 Superior and 2 Comfort), together with a living room for common use.
La casa del contadino
(The farmer’s house)
As the name suggests, this was the residence of the last farmers who lived in this estate.
It is located on the first floor and has a beautiful wooden ceiling and tiles perfectly restored to its natural splendor of the past. Attractive is the discovery of 2 main beams that take us back to the end of 1700, when the whole country house was born thanks to the fine craftmanship of the Olivetan Friars.
It is made up of 4 rooms with bathroom, 1 DeLuxe + 2 Superior and 1 Comfort.
La casa "bruciata"
(The burnt house)
Originally this was an agricultural shed that began to be called so, after a fire that destroyed a part of it.
Later it was completely renovated choosing a sober and very elegant style, which brings back to its former glory the ceiling with chestnut beams and terracotta tiles.
It is composed of 3 rooms with large windows that showcase the Tuscan countryside in all its beauty: 2 beautiful Panoramic DeLuxe and 1 Panoramic Junior Suite.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. The pictures really don’t do it justice - the views are just the best I have ever seen. Wonderful service, great food, beautiful pool and facilities (facilities are shared with Hotel Sovestro which is right next door). Shuttle service into San Gimignano was brilliant. Agree with other comments that it’s best to get the shuttle in as it’s quite a steep walk, and walk back and enjoy the views. We really can’t wait to visit here again already and will absolutely be recommending to family and friends!

Lovely room with plenty of character and space. Spotlessly clean with excellent bathroom and room facilities. A little more expensive than the neighbouring hotel but the room made up for the small price difference, plus you can use the hotel facilities at your leisure

Beautiful property, easy to find and plenty of parking. We used the pool on the sister property and it was great. The breakfast was delicious with TONS of choices. We walked the back road to the village and it took us about 20 mintutes.

It was an amazing stay and the outdoor space was magical to hang in the evenings. So wonderful to have access to the breakfast, hotel, and workout facility …. The food was top notch!!!
