The Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG 2023 is the most authentic expression of our territory: a white wine from San Gimignano that carries history, identity and tradition.
It is the only white DOCG in Tuscany and one of the oldest wines in Italy, still capable today of standing out for its balance and recognisability. This vintage delivers a particularly fresh and vertical Vernaccia, with an elegant and immediate profile, equally suited to food pairing or enjoyed on its own.
The winemaking follows a straightforward and respectful approach: after manual harvesting at full ripeness, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and static gravity clarification. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature, as does ageing, preserving aromatic integrity and finesse.
The result is a wine that directly represents the wines of San Gimignano, with a pleasant, dynamic finish consistent with the style of the denomination.
