A structured and mineral white wine

The Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG “Donna Lucia” is one of the most complete expressions of our territory. A white wine from San Gimignano born from a careful selection of the best grapes, harvested by hand at full ripeness.

Its defining character is minerality, which speaks directly to the origin of our soils, once submerged by the sea and still rich in marine fossils today. This connection shows in the glass with elegance and depth, making this one of the most distinctive labels among the wines of San Gimignano.

The process includes skin maceration for around 4 days at low temperature, developing a broader aromatic profile and a slightly more intense colour. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel and ages on fine lees for approximately one year, gaining structure, balance and complexity.

“Donna Lucia” is dedicated to a central figure in our family history and our restaurant: a tribute that carries care, identity and tradition, just like this wine.
